How to use the Midwest
Portal:
Welcome. Midwest Portal is designed as a very fast-to-load, minimal-graphics, minimal-ads launch page.
All the features are accessed either with normal clicks,
or by using pull down lists. Click on any of the pull down lists and select
the web page you want to go to. If you don't see the site you want in
the list, go to the bottom of the pull down menu, and you will see
a link to an entire page of that kind of content.
For instance, if you are on the News List, and your
favorite news source is not listed, try going to the bottom of the list and
selecting Midwest Portal News. That will take you to an entire page of news
sources. If you are interested in suggesting additional content or have
other questions, please visit our help
page.
If you find a scroll bar next to any pull down window,
simply use it to see additional selections in that window.
